A customer by the name of Marianna called on Areopagitas to put together a dress for a very special day in her life- her civil ceremony which would take place the weekend after Valentine's Day on a cool, yet sunny day in Austin, Texas.

Marianna had shopped several dress shops but was unsatisfied with the selection available in retail shops. These seemed to be left-overs from the winter season. the colors were too bold for what she had in mind.

Marianna had previously looked through several other websites. She found more than one dress that she liked but each dress was still not her ideal one. After emailing our customer service department, it was suggested to her that she may consider combining two of the dresses she was looking at to create the dress she really wanted.

next, Marianna chose her fabric from our pages, She knew she wanted silver as her main color. Because she wanted a soft, romantic look, she chose the silver color to be of a sheer fabric. She then chose a pale rose satin as the underlying fabric certain that this would complement the silver nicely.

The result was a lovely sheer-over-satin dress with as softly gathered skirt and sheer bishop sleeves. the pale rose fabric ties around the waist to form a large bow.

Upon seeing the finished product and trying it on , Marianna spoke excitedly about how beautiful it was and how well it fit. She told Areopagita's that we had made her dream dress a reality and asked if we might want to work on her bridal dress next.
